I’ve tried lots of other tool bags, but the Maxsac is where its at for all my projects at work and at home!

It starts with a great tool bag…

Hi, I’m Ed Estrada and I’m the creator of the MaxSac tool Bag. I’m passionate about helping people who rely on their tools to make a living to be more organized and efficient. It starts with a great tool bag.

I started out my career in the United States Airforce. As a crew chief, I was expected to maintain my aircraft and always keep it in top condition. I learned discipline and the importance of being organized with my tools. After I served my tour, I decided to come back home to the State of Washington, and I started working at a local mill. Due to my mechanical background in the military, I was able to get into their apprenticeship program and become a millwright. I learned many skills, including machine shop, welding, and metal fabrication. As my skills were developing, I was always trying to figure out ways to be more organized with my tools. In 2006, I decided to change career paths and I started my second apprenticeship to become a licensed Elevator Mechanic. I’m passionate about my job, and I’m always trying to find ways to be more efficient.

Over the years I’ve tried many different tool bags. I always end up being a bit frustrated and disappointed because the tools I need to carry don’t quite fit in the pockets and everything ends up in a pile at the bottom of the bag.

That’s when I decided to design my own bag.

I spent the next two years designing and developing the MaxSac. It’s the bag I personally use on the job, and I hope you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

The MaxSac is also great for the home hobbyist. One of my hobbies is restoring classic cars. Now I can be just as organized with my tools at home as I am at work. So, if you have a tool set at home for jobs around the house or if you are a backyard mechanic like me, you can benefit from having your tools stored in a convenient, well-organized bag.
